The 2023 22’ Sun Tracker pontoon boat is rated to carry up to 11 people total, including the operator. The maximum weight capacity is approximately 1,500–1,600 lbs, which includes passengers, gear, and personal items.
Passenger count and weight limits are strictly enforced under Texas law. Always follow the capacity plate posted on the boat.
Texas law requires anyone born on or after September 1, 1993 to have a Texas Boater Education Certificate to operate a motorized vessel over 15 horsepower.
It is the renter’s responsibility to ensure all operators meet Texas Parks & Wildlife Department (TPWD) requirements. Proof may be required prior to departure.
Yes — the first tank of fuel is included with your rental. Any fuel used beyond the first tank is the responsibility of the renter and may require refueling or additional charges, depending on rental terms.
The renter is fully responsible for any damage, regardless of fault. This includes accidental damage, misuse, grounding, propeller damage, upholstery damage, or damage caused by passengers, weather, or water conditions. Repair costs may be deducted from the security deposit or charged to the payment method on file.
Beaching or intentionally grounding the boat is not permitted and commonly results in damage. Docking must be done carefully to avoid rub rail or pontoon damage.
Towing tubes, skis, or inflatables is only allowed with prior approval and must comply with all Texas boating safety laws, including observer and life jacket requirements.
If a mechanical issue, accident, or emergency occurs, stop operating the boat immediately and contact us as soon as possible. Do not attempt repairs or continue operation, as this may cause additional damage and increase renter liability.
